‘Jungle City’ is an interesting play written by India’s creative writer, journalist Shakeel Akhter. It’s very useful & powerful drama for youth & children’s theater. According to Dr. (Prof) Abhilash Pillai, Dean, Educational Affairs, the National School of Drama, Delhi, India, “The play explores the relationship between humans and animals. It draws attention to how we see the animals and how animals see us. The play also takes us to the memory lane of famous plays and films like ‘Jungle Book’ and ‘Lion King’. The play is also geared for stage experiments, school celebrations with children’s workshops or annual events.
